Elder tech startup Papa signs lease for new headquarters in Miami's Brickell

Papa, a "family-on-demand" technology platform signed a lease for 11,420 square feet at 66 S.W. Sixth St. in Miami's Brickell with enough space for a maximum of 70 to 80 of its 150 full-time employees, including its executive team. DWNTWN Realty Advisors co-founder Tony Arellano arranged the lease.

Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club to open store in Wynwood

The Pharrell Williams-owned clothing brand inked a lease for 5,700 square feet at 2545 NW 3rd Avenue in a building that formerly housed a wholesale shoe company, according to a release. The site is across from Zak the Baker, Walt Grace Vintage and the Wynwood Garage. David Lerner of DWNTWN Realty Advisors represented both sides of the Wynwood deal.

Developers land $19M construction loan for Opa-locka affordable housing

A joint venture closed on a $19 million construction loan for a $26 million Opa-locka development geared toward affordable housing. Andrew Kurnit of DWNTWN Realty Advisors helped secure the construction loan from City National Bank of Florida.

Movers & Shakers: Koniver Stern brings on brokers, Elmir Group joins One Sotheby’s

DWNWTN Realty Advisors brought on David Lerner and Myles Stepner as executives. Lerner will focus on leasing in DWNTWN’s core neighborhoods, and Stepner will focus on investment sales. Stepner is joining from Avison Young, while Lerner has experience working with his family’s portfolio of properties in Wynwood.

MV Group USA Closes on the Sale for $3,100,000 for the Newly Developed 9900 Bird Shops

MV Group is currently developing and under construction on several projects and closed in 2019 on the development of Flagler Ponce Shops for $6,000,000 as well as 4136 N. Miami Avenue for $10,500,000 and its neighboring property 4141 N. Miami Avenue for $10,500,000, all of which were brokered by Tony Arellano of DWNTWN Realty Advisors.

Silicon Valley heads to Wynwood’s office market

It’s unclear yet how deep the impact of coronavirus will be. Brokers Tony Arellano and Devlin Marinoff of Dwntwn Realty Advisors said the pandemic will eventually result in opportunities for tenants – and for investors. “Now if you’re buying something, you’re buying it at a good value,” Arellano said. “All of the foam of the market got taken off.”

Jamón ibérico lovers rejoice. A Spanish marketplace is coming to Wynwood

The global specialty food brand Enrique Tomás, known for its Jamón Ibérico, has signed a 5,400-square-foot lease for 2701 NW Second Ave. DWNTWN Realty Advisors Co-Founder and Managing Partner Tony Arellano and Investment Sales & Leasing Executive Joe Fernandez represented the landlord.

Development site in Miami’s A&E District asks $21M

Zoning allows 427 residential units to be built on the site. The half-block property, at 1550 Northeast Miami Place, is in an Opportunity Zone. The Kluger family owns the 0.85-acre site, property records show. Jordan Gimelstein of DWNTWN Realty Advisors is listing the property.
